Today Is NOT a Good Day To Die

During the Battle of Little Big Horn in 1876, "crazy horse", the leader of the Sioux Tribe①tribe 英 [traɪb] 美 [traɪb] n. 部落；族；宗族；一伙of Indians once said: "Hóka-héy, today is a good day to die!"

In today's world, I can’t imagine in which occasion②occasion 英 [ə'keɪʒ(ə)n] 美 [ə'keʒn] n. 时机，机会；场合；理由vt. 引起，惹起people deserve③deserve 英 [dɪ'zɜːv] 美 [dɪ'zɝv] vi. 应受，应得vt. 应受，应得to say this sentence. Don’t listen to Malcolm X's speech recording, nerd④nerd n. 呆子；书呆子；讨厌的人, youdo not deserve. You already own the whole era and you couldn't be more insatiable⑤insatiable 英 [ɪn'seɪʃəb(ə)l] 美 [ɪn'seʃəbl] adj. 贪得无厌的；不知足的. You can sit in front of the computer and download⑥download 英 [daʊn'ləʊd] 美 [,daʊn'lod] vt. [计] 下载everything. You know why entertainments⑦entertainment 英 [entə'teɪnm(ə)nt]美 ['ɛntɚ'tenmənt] n. 娱乐；消遣；款待in this era are so rich? Because you don't deserve to die. So live it up⑧live it up 狂欢一场；过着逍遥的日子, just have fun until you're 80 years old. You do not deserve to die young.

You always talk about Brian Jones, Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Joplin, Cobain, who died at the age of 27, and lots of genius died at the age of 27. But what did you achieve before the age of 27? What is the difference to you between dying at 27 and dying at birth?You don't deserve to die young.

Today is NOT a Good Day to Die.

Tomorrow won't be, either.

在1876年的小巨角之战中，印第安人的苏族领袖“疯马”曾经说过一句“Hóka-héy, today is a good day to die!”（今天不是个死掉的好日子）。

而在当今的世界上，我已经想象不出任何的场合是配说出这句话的。

不要听Malcolm X的演讲录音了宅男，你不配。你们已经拥有了整个时代，还要多贪得无厌才够？你坐在电脑前，能下载到各种丰富的资源。知道为什么这个时代的娱乐这么丰富吗？因为你们不配去死。所以就赖活着吧，一路玩到80岁。你们不配过早地死去。

你们总是谈论布莱恩·琼斯、莫里森、吉米·亨德里克斯、乔普林、柯本，在27岁死了，天才都在27岁死了。请问你27岁前取得了什么成就？你在27岁死和你在出生时就夭折，又有什么区别？你们不配过早地死去。

今天不是个死掉的好日子。

明天也不是。
