Nurse： How do you feel after your operation1？

Patient： Quite all right. But I can feel two hearts beating inside me.

Nurse： No wonder！The doctor who operated2 on you is looking for his watch everywhere.

两颗心在跳

护士：手术后你感觉怎样？

病人：十分好，但是我能感觉到在我体内有两颗心在跳动。

护士：怪不得给你做手术的大夫在到处找他的手表呢！

What Would You Do？

Son： Mom， if someone broke your favorite vase3， what would you do？

Mum： Id hit him on the bottom and send him to bed without any supper！

Son： Well， youd better get the slippers4. Dad has just broken it！

儿子：妈妈，如果有人打碎了你最心爱的花瓶，你会怎么办？

妈妈：我要打他的屁股，还不给他饭吃就让他去睡觉

儿子：好了，你准备好拖鞋吧，爸爸刚把那只花瓶打碎了。

An Abstract5 Drawing

One day in a drawing class， the teacher told the class to draw an abstract drawing. After a while， a little boy turned his drawing in. The teacher looked at it， but saw nothing， only a piece of white paper.

“What did you draw？” said the teacher.

“A cow eating grass，” the boy answered.

“Where is the grass？” asked the teacher.

“The cow has eaten it up，” answered the boy.

“Well， but where is the cow？” the teacher asked again.

“It ate up the grass and went away to drink water.”

一幅抽象画

一天，美术课上，老师要同学们画一幅抽象画。过了一会儿，一个小男孩交了他的作品。老师看了看，可上面什么也没有，只不过是一张白纸。

“你画的是什么呀？”老师问。

“牛吃草。”孩子答道。

“草呢？”老师问。

“牛把它吃光了。”孩子回答说。

“嗯，可是牛去哪里呢？”老师又问道。

“牛吃完草之后就离开找水喝去了。”
