乌拉圭驻华大使罗萨里奥·波特利访渝

4月9-10日，乌拉圭驻华大使罗萨里奥·波特利访问重庆，希望与重庆在软件生产领域开展新的合作。

副市长陈绿平会见了波特利大使。他说，乌拉圭是重庆在南美的重要合作伙伴，希望借鉴力帆在乌拉圭项目的成功案例，深化双方在农业、汽摩、经贸、基础设施、文化教育等全方位的合作。波特利表示，乌拉圭是一个重质不重量的国家，出口的产品都具有比较高的品质，除了传统的农产品等，乌也是南美重要的软件生产国，希望重庆与乌拉圭可以开拓新的合作领域。

在渝期间，波特利还拜访了力帆集团，以及重庆市贸促会，就促进重庆与乌拉圭间的经贸交流进行了会谈。

“Chongqing's Friendship Award” is the greatest compliment of Chongqing people's international friends. There have been 102 foreign friends received the award ever since it’s established in 2001.

In the afternoon of March 29, the Australian listed company, the Goodman Chongqing Airport Logistics Centre was officially opened. It is Goodman's first project in Chongqing. Mr. Peter Cosgrove, the Australia Governor took part in the opening ceremony and delivered a speech that he was optimistic on Chongqing's logistical advantage, in the future there will be more Australian products shipped via the Logistics Center to all over Chongqing, strength close contacts between the parties.

The relevant information was released at the press conference at the Chongqing Press Center on April 8.

It is understood that kukan is the only color documentary that received the Oscar special that reflects Chinese history of the war and the most complete and systematic precious film exposing Japanese’ aggression and bombing Chongqing that’s taken by the westerner so far. The film was planned and invested by American Chinese artist Li Ling-Ai, and filmed by American Rey Scott, it recorded China's political, economic, cultural and social content fields during the war, the most shocking part of which is on August 19th - 20th, 1940, the Japanese invading army aircraft boming the main urban area of Chongqing, photographer Scott lying on the roof of the United States Embassy in Nan’an and photographed the entire process.

It is said that this film will be played in major television stations of China, as well as major media, also will be availableon the network, after that it will be played year-round in Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum.

World's largest solar-powered aircraft the "Solar Impulse 2" landed at Chongqing Jiangbei international airport at 1:35 A.M on March 31, the fifth leg of its around the world trip--Chongqing.

"Solar Impulse 2" is a plane designed by Switzerland that can fly day and night without adding any fuel, also does not release any pollutants. it is dominated by carbon fiber materials, the wing is 72 meters, only about 2,300 kilograms in weight, the size is about a small car, average speed is just more than 100 kilometers.17248 mounted on the wing panels for aircraft to provide a sustainable renewable energy.

April 7-8th, the Councillor of Brisbane, Australia - the sister city of Chongqing, Mr. Julian Simmonds of 4 people visited Chongqing to invite Chongqing to participate in 2015 Asia-Pacific Mayors Summit which will be held in Brisbane this July 5-8th.

On April 9-10th, Ms Rosario Portell, Ambassador of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay in China visited Chongqing, hoping to start new cooperation in the field of software production with Chongqing.

Chen Lvping, Deputy Mayor of Chongqing met with the ambassador. He said, Uruguay is Chongqing's important cooperative partner in South America, the two parties should deepen cooperation in agriculture, auto, trade, infrastructure, culture and education by the successful experience of Lifan in Uruguay.

Mrs. Portell said Uruguay is an country that emphasis on quality, not quantity.all export products are of higher quality.in addition to the traditional agricultural products, Uruguay is also an important country that produces software in South America, she hoped to open up new area of cooperation between Chongqing and Uruguay.

During her visit in Chongqing, Mrs. Portell also visited Lifan group and CCPIT to discuss on economic and trade exchanges between both parties.
