假如你叫李华，是一名高三学生。最近，你的好友王林发来电子邮件，说他的父母从不让他做家务，要求他把心思用在学习上，必须考上重点大学。他对自己缺乏信心，担心辜负父母的期望，因此向你求助。请根据下面的写作提示，给他回复一封英语电子邮件。内容包括：

1 写邮件的原因；

2 帮他分析问题；

3. 提出几点建议。

要求

1) 词数不少于120（不含已写好的部分）。

2) 可适当增加细节，以使行文连贯。

Dear Wang Lin,

I know from your e-mail that you are annoyed these daysbecause your parents expect you to go to a famous university after graduation. I am writing to offer you some advice.

A lot of parents intend their children to go to famous universities, so many of us live under pressure. Actually if we work really hard, we can make enough progress to get into those famous universities. And even if we fail, there is nothing to regret because we tried our best.

I advise you to concentrate on your lessons. Don’t care too much about what others say. Besides, you should believe in yourself. I am sure you will make your dreams come true if you try your best. Finally, why not talk with your parents, letting them know how you feel?

【范文剖析】

1. 第一段言简意赅，直奔主题。用两句话I know from your e-mail that you are annoyed these days because your parents expect you to go to a famous university after graduation. I am writing to offer you some advice. 导入话题，并表明写作目的。

2. 第二段分析了好友王林当前面临的问题，语言朴实，分析入情入理。第一句A lot of parents intend their children to go to famous universities, so many of us live under pressure. 说明王林的处境具有普遍性，以打消他的顾虑。第二句Actually if we work really hard, we can make enough progress to get into those famous universities. 陈述压力带来的好处。最后一句And even if we fail, there is nothing to regret because we tried our best. 劝解王林正确看待来自家长的压力，即使考不上重点大学，也不留遗憾，因为自己尽力了。

3. 第三段给对方提出了三点建议。信号词Besides和Finally的使用使段落层次分明，衔接紧密。本段使用了提建议的句式：I advise you to do…; You should…; Why not…?语言地道，表达流畅。

4. 在信的结尾用l hope you will fnd my advice useful.一句提醒对方采纳自己的建议，不仅突出主题，也使文章的结构非常严谨。

5. 句子亮点

1)复合句

①状语从句：because your parents expect you to go to famous universities after graduation；if we work hard；because we tried our best; if you try your best.

②宾语从句：what others say; I am sure you will make your dreams come true.

2)非谓语动词

①动词不定式作宾语补足语：A lot of parents intend their children to go to famous universities；I advise you to concentrate on your lessons.

②动词不定式作状语：We can make enough progress to get into those famous universities.

③动词不定式作后置定语：There is nothing to regret.

④现在分词作状语：letting them know how you feel?

【技巧点拨】

1. 建议信是英语书信的一种。在信中，写信人针对收信人提出的某个问题进行认真的讨论和分析，提出自己的看法和建议，并希望对方能采纳建议，最终解决问题。

2. 建议信的基本结构：第一段陈述写信的原因；第二段讨论和分析问题，陈述利弊，为下文提出建议埋下伏笔；第三段提出合理化的建议；第四段简短总结前文，希望对方考虑或者采纳建议。

3. 写建议信可能用到的句式

1)第一段导入话题常用的句式

You tell me that you are upset because…I’m writing to offer you some advice on…你告诉我，你不开心是因为……，我想给你提几点忠告。

I know from your e-mail that you have trouble in…so I’m writing to make some suggestions.从电邮中，我了解到你在……方面有困难。我写此信是想给你提点建议。

Here are some tips on…/Here is some advice on…下面是关于……的一些建议。

I’d like to express my opinion on…我想表达对……的意见。

2)提建议的常用句式

Why don’t you do…/Why not…?为什么不……呢？

It would be a good idea to do…做某事是个好主意

You’d better…你最好……

You should…你应该……

You can…你可以……

I suggest/recommend that…我建议你……

If I were you, I would…如果我是你，我就会……

What/How about………怎么样？

In my opinion, it is better do…我认为，做……更好

3)连接词和过渡语
