In 2012， the Google X project team connects 16000 processors and formed a nervous system to simulate the human brain， and successfully let the system learn to identify a cats appearance. In 2014， IBM used the similar way to design network computer system similar to the synapse， which simulates the internal connection of human brain， and brings a computer to master the function of self-learning. Traditional computer programs judge and execute the programs on artificial conditions， but the future “smart” computers will have the ability of self-learning and self-judgement， realize artificial intelligence. Its conceivable that once the technical obstacle of computers thinking by themselves broken through， the computers ability will be improved largely， and the artificial intelligence will come true in a short time.

New Way To Detect The Extrasolar Planets

In the end of 2013， a whole new detector of planets came out， which is “Gemini planet imager”. The imager is connected with the Gemini south station telescope located in Chile. It uses the infrared band signals accepted to analyze the atmosphere spectrum of “suspected planets”. The scientists are able to judge preliminarily whether the target is a extrasolar planet by studying the spectral information of its atmosphere.

History

In the aerospace history， there is few animals or plants has ever been to the outer space. However， the NASA has just sent a unprecedented an animal army——about 800 ants to the outer space. The ants were divided into 8 small groups， used to study their ethnic behaviors under different conditions such as weight loss. People have kept on trying to break the behavior secrets of ants. By study of ants behaviors as optimal path choice and avoiding barriers， we can organize many courses of actions fit for human society， such as the escape scheme of public places and the assist path at the scene of disasters.

Anecdote

The NRK corporation has disclosed an interesting thing since the recent winter. Near a small island called Lovund in Norway， a crowd of fish suddenly encountered the frozen ice sea as swimming， and frozen in the floating ice. Actually the local sea temperature was 7.8oC below zero， which is not that low. But the violent east wind whirled away the temperature on the sea surface in a short while， froze the sea， as well as the fish. After seeing the pictures， the scientists thought the frozen fish might be eluding predators at that time， so they kept such a state of swimming in group， and encountered the seas sudden frozen. The people living on the Lovund island who saw the frozen fish said that although the fish were so close， the carnivores living on fishes were still helpless. If it was not for the frozen sea ice， the local fishermen had caught the fish away long ago. Just few days ago， in Norway， an elk was trapped in a lake for the similar reason. People guessed that the elk couldnt struggle in the water and the water was frozen rapidly， therefore the elk was fixed under the surface. The dead elk became the local view which attracted many travelers to see it， but the local residents have already been used to the way of death.
