San Xing Wu Shen

In the Spring and Autumn Period （770-476 BC）， Con- fuciuss student Zen Shen was a hard-working man and in great favor of Confucius. He got great improvement in his study which earned him the admiration from his classmates.

They asked him how he could get progress so quickly. He answered： “Every day I asked myself three questions. Can I work full-heartedly for others？ Do I lie to my friends？ Do I get all the knowledge the master teaches us？ If I find any detects， I will correct them immediately.”
