当你约会时，不必放冲天烟火或彩色花炮。（Roman candle 指能喷发彩色火花的烟火筒；Skyrocket 也是指 Firework；也就是不要开始庆祝，因为你不知道将来会怎样）

For a woman to be solo is not a tragedy， if she can't find the right person.

对女人来说，如果她找不到理想对象，单身未必是不幸。（solo=single）

He sees no reason to rush to the altar until both are self-supporting.

除非两人都能自立自足，他看不出有急着结婚的理由。（altar是教堂内的圣坛；意指结婚）

His attitude of entitlement should give her serious thoughts about ever marrying him.

他那种“应得权利”的态度，应该让她认真考虑是否与他结婚。（entitlement 指应得的权利；也就是he can do everything）

Marriage should be based on true love， not love of money.

婚姻应该基于真爱，而非爱钱。

Some young people are not yet emotionally or financially ready for a life-long marriage commitment.

有些青年人对一生婚姻的承诺，在感情或经济上还未准备就绪。

She wants to make sure he is the person with whom she can spend the rest of her life.

她要确定他是否是她这辈子共同生活的对象。

Her elitist attitude is what is causing her to be single.

她高人一等的优越态度，是她成为单身的原因。（elitist=better than others）
