We just walked out of London airport, with the fresh cool wind blowing on my face, which was so much different than the high temperature in Chongqing.
Streets in United Kingdom are very clean, potted plant are hanging on the carved hollow street lamps, green lawn, pure beautiful white dove, squirrels hiding in forest. Houses on both sides of the street are also featured: white walls, red tile, Brown windowsill, wooden bright Potted flowers on the window sill, balcony, attic, and reminds me of Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale of small stone house, very cute.
I was impressed of what I saw in United Kingdom, the most memorable thing to me is their specific castles. We visit Windsor, the largest and the oldest inhabited Castle in the world. Windsor is located in 32 km west of the town of Windsor, it is on a hill by the shore of the Thames, it is one of the Royal Palace in United Kingdom, the current Queen Elizabeth spends almost every weekend here. As early as the 11th century, King William I the Conqueror built 9 32 kilometers apart around Windsor Castlecastles in order to prevent from British resistance, which formed a mutual support of fortress of defense.Windsor Castle is one of the biggest among these 9 Castles; it was built in 1070, which are thousands of years of history so far. Windsor is so big and luxury, trees and flowers are outside, with gorgeous Gothic buildings, white gold-reveal, beautiful stained glass, there also has wooden potted fl owers on the window sill, giving us a gorgeous and sweet sense of fantasy.Entering the Castle,a huge Crystal light is striking, heavy armors on the sides of the tile covered with red carpet , the room is filled with gold and silver tableware and many paintings of the Royal collection, there is also a mechanical clock that can play many complex and wonderful music.
What impresses me the most in London is Loch Ness. Loch Ness is very big and beautiful. The lake was cool and green, but it changes to blue with
a trace of green because of the blue sky, extremely beautiful. There is a hill on the other side of the Lake where all fl owers were embedded in the green of the Woods, very cute. Standing next to the meadow by the Lake, you can see though by the sunlight, between water and stones in the colorful, the
glitter of fish squamous is reflecting
the lake, adding a limitless vitality to this landscape.
I have been heard the double deck bus
in United Kingdom and liked it so much, this time I would like to take the double-decker bus. It was quite expensive, about 11 pounds, however the tickets seller gave me a toy and headphones. I sat in the bus, enjoying the old scenery in Oxford, the bus was slowly driving, adding a quiet beauty.
We also went to the Cathedral of York. The Cathedral is a Gothic-style building, the most amazing thing is a piece of stained glass behind the altar and in the East of the Church, whose area is almost the size of a tennis court,it is the largest medieval stained glass in the world, I cannot help praising: how amazing the ancients are!
The short trip to United Kingdom left me many unforgettable memories, I said to myself: I must come back to United Kingdom once again!
