开学第一天，对每个学生来说，都是一个新的起点。在国外，许多学校和家庭都想方设法为学生们创造一个快乐又有意义的开学氛围，让他们留下美好而深刻的记忆，使新学期有一个好的开端。

American teachers stand at the door of the classroom to welcome students by shaking hands with every freshman and leading them to their seats.Every student is equally regarded and respected.At the beginning of the term,students choose their courses based on their interests and teachers also give advice to help students make new term plans.From the first day on,all the behaviours of the students will be recorded to let both the school and the family pay attention to children’s growth.美国学校的老师会在开学的第一天站在教室门口欢迎学生，和每位新生握手，并把学生带领到他们的座位上。每个学生都会受到同等的重视和尊重。开学伊始，学生可以根据自己的兴趣选择课程，老师也会给学生提出建议帮助他们制定新学期的计划。从开学第一天起，学生的种种表现都将被记录下来，以便学校和家庭共同关注孩子的成长。

September 1stis a special day in Japan.It’s not only the first day of school but also the National Disaster Prevention Day on which disaster prevention activities will be carried out in the country.There is a school-starting ceremony on that day and the schoolmaster expects all the students to start their school life with full energy.Then all the students go to their classrooms to listen to their headteachers’arrangements for the new term.9月1日在日本是个非同寻常的日子。这天不仅是学校新学期的第一天，也是全国“防灾日”，这天全国各地会开展防灾活动。开学典礼上，校长希望所有的学生以新的精神状态开始学习生活。接着，他们回到各自的教室听从班主任新学期的安排。

Primary and middle schools start on September 18 every year in Portugal.Schools have to make preparations for the new term.After school begins,students get to know all kinds of rules which are put up on the bulletin board.Rich courses designed in class and out of class help students develop their interests and digest what they have learnt.葡萄牙的中小学在每年的9月18日开学，学校会为新学期做各项准备。开学后，学生通过布告栏了解学校的规章制度。学校设置了丰富多彩的课内外课程来培养学生的个人爱好，帮助他们消化所学的内容。

In Germany,parents will make paper loudhailers for their children who will go to school.There are usually gifts,like candies,color pens,pencil sharpeners and little toys in the big or small paper loudhailers with different cartoon images.Every school holds a grand school-opening ceremony in the school or in a church.The schoolmaster encourages students to study hard and teachers,parents and students sing familiar songs together.在德国，父母会为即将入学的孩子们制作纸喇叭筒。通常，或大或小、装饰着不同卡通形象的纸喇叭筒里有父母准备的礼物，如糖果、彩笔、卷笔刀和小玩具等。每所学校会在校园或教堂举行隆重的开学典礼，校长会鼓励学生努力学习，老师、家长和学生们要一起唱熟悉的歌。
