当询问某人对某人或某事的观点或看法时,我们常用“What+do/does sb. think of…?”这一句型,意思是“……认为……怎么样?”。介词of后既可接物,也可接人作宾语。针对其回答时,可根据实际情况进行选择。可供选择的答语有:

■肯定回答:I like it./She likes it very much./They love it./Its beautiful./Theyre cool. 请看:

——What does she think of the new teacher? 她认为这位新老师怎么样?

——She likes her very much. 她非常喜欢她。

——What do you think of your hometown? 你认为你的家乡怎么样?

——I love her. 我热爱家乡。

■否定回答:I dont like it./He cant stand it./Its too awful./Theyre boring. 请看:

——What do they think about the game? 他们认为这个游戏怎么样?

——Its boring. 很无聊。

——What does he think of Sports News? 他认为体育新闻怎么样?

——He doesnt like it. 他不喜欢。

——What do you think of sitcoms? 你认为情景剧怎么样?

——I cant stand them. 我不能容忍。

■折中回答:I dont mind it. 请看:

——What do you think of the song? 你认为这首歌怎么样?

——I dont mind it. 我不介意。

■温馨提示:What+do/does sb. think of…?句型通常可与How do/does sb. like…?句型互换使用,须特别注意两句型中的疑问词不能混淆。请看:

What do you think of the book?=How do you like the book? 你认为这本书怎么样?
