1.（太阳很大，小兔子去买雪糕，她看见马叔叔在冰箱上盖着厚厚的棉被，觉得很奇怪。）

Little rabbit:He is really a foolish uncle. Its so hot, but he covers his fridge with so thick cotton quilt. The ice cream will melt sooner or later!

小兔子:他可真是个傻叔叔，这大热天的用厚棉被捂着冰箱，雪糕不全化了才怪呢！

2.（小兔子给马叔叔钱，马叔叔笑眯眯地给她拿雪糕。）

Little rabbit:Uncle, here is the money.

小兔子:叔叔，给你钱。

Uncle Horse:Well, here you are the most delicious ice cream.

马叔叔:好，给你拿最好吃的雪糕。

3.（小兔子盯着雪糕包装皮上的白霜，两眼都直了。）

Little rabbit:Alas, how can it be? It is covered with thick cotton quilt indeed, how cant it not only melt, but also has so much white frost on it?

小兔子:咦，这是怎么回事呢？明明是用棉被捂着的嘛，怎么不但不会化，还有白霜了呢？

4.（马叔叔笑呵呵地给她解释了半天，她恍然大悟。）

Uncle Horse:The cotton quilt isnt used to keep the other things warm, but “keep away” the hot or cold air. In winter, it can keep the body heat in it. I cover the fridge with cotton quilt in order to keep the ice creams cold air in it, because the cotton quilt can prevent the outside hot air in and keep the inside air cold.

马叔叔:棉被其实不是起保暖的作用，它是起“阻隔”的作用。冬天盖棉被，它能把身体散发的热气留在被子里，我给冰箱盖棉被，也是为了把雪糕的冷气留住。棉被能阻止外面的热气进来，保住里面的冷气。

Little rabbit:Oh, thats it. From now on, Ill come and buy ice cream here every day. I can also get much knowledge here.

小兔子:哦，原来是这样啊！以后我天天来你这儿买雪糕，还能学到好多知识呢。
