August30,2007,Shenzhen,China-ZTECorporation("ZTE"),a lead ing g lobalp roviderof telecommunications equipmentand network solutions,announced thatithas recently signed an ag reementw ith Telkom Indonesia("Telkom"),the largest InfoCom com pany and full-service network p rovider in Indonesia,to help expand the CDMA2000 network capacity fornationalcoverage.Under the contract,the network expansion w illcover the fourmain cities of the eastern partof Sulawesi,Indonesia.

Telkom is Indonesia's largestintegrated infocom carrier w ith the largestCDMA network in the country.Its fixed w ireless network b rand,"Telkom Flexi",is currently being used by 5m illion users rep resenting 50 percentmarketshare of Indonesia's CDMA totalmarketsize.As one of Telkom Indonesia'smajorp roviders,ZTEhas almost3.5m illion lines ofCDMA network capacity.
ZTE p reviously partnered w ith Telkom in August2004,when ZTE supp lied the op ticalnetwork p roducts for Telkom's nationalbackbone network transm ission p roject.ZTEwas selected by Telkom among otherbidders for the p rojectdue to its p roven technicalsolution.
ZTE is currently themainstream CDMA p rovider in the g lobalmarket,w ith its CDMA users'capacity exceed ing a hund red m illion.The com pany currently possesses the highestnumberofcountries and operators using its CDMA network in the industry,w ith over70 countries and more than 120 operators.To date,the totalcapacity of ZTE's CDMA network in Indonesia has reached 15m illion lines,which makes the company as the key CDMA p rovider in the country.
