The GMIProg ram,initiated by the MSF,p rovides an opportunity to put the com ponents together in amulti-vendor,end-to-end network dep loymentscenario,and validates the current release of the architec ture.The GMIeventin 2006(GMI2006),jointly hosted by five of the top international carriers-British Telecom,Korea Telecom,NTT,Verizon and Vodafone-and The University ofNew Ham pshire Interoperability Laboratory,focused on testingmulti-vendor interoperability to achieve fixed mobile convergence supporting the IMS service framework.
