Should parents celebrate academic achievements
In recent discussions about whether to celebrate academic achievements, opinions appear to be divided.According to the survey results, 58% of the students are in favor of celebrating academic achievements.Among them 27% of the students argue that it demonstrates a deep appreciation for education, 21% of the students claim that it promotes a culture of perseverance, and 10% of the students believe that it enhances community cohesion.
However, 42% of the students believe that celebrating academic achievements should be discouraged.16% of the whole students suggest that this practice may make those with less satisfactory results feel excluded and 26% of the students think that the narrow focus on exam scores hinders the all-round development of students, for which 15% of the student think it makes it possible to overlook the importance of character development and overall growth in students.
Personally, rather than solely focusing on academic achievements, it is essential that we strike a balance between recognizing individual success and fostering a supportive environment for all students.
