How to Keep Safe

Safety comes first. We always keep it in mind. How can we keep safe？ The students in our class have a discussion. Here is the result.

First， we had better not buy and eat any junk food. Second， we mustn’t go swimming in the rivers in summer and play on the rivers in winter. Third， don’t get close to the dangerous animals in the zoo， or you will get hurt. And last， when some natural disasters happen， we should learn to protect ourselves. It is very dangerous for us to go through the water when there is a flood.

In my opinion， we can’t go out alone at night. Remember to keep safe at any time.

Extra-curricular English reading is very popular in our school. Many students like reading now.

There are many advantages of reading. Firstly， reading can make students learn more about Western culture. Secondly， do some reading can improve our reading skills and form a good reading habit. Thirdly， extra-curricular reading can make us become a full man.

However， I have many problems when reading. I am busy with my school work， andI don’t have much time to do extra-curricular English reading. New words may be a bigproblem. I find it hard to understand the passage with many new words. What’s more， I don’tknow which book to choose.

In my opinion， do some extra-curricular English reading is good for students. And weshould spent at least thirty minutes reading and sharing our ideas with friends.

My parents and I left for Lianyungang by train. It took us four and a half hours to getthere. We visited the museum. In the evening we stayed in Mingzhu Hotel and had some localfood.

The next day we went to visit Mount Huaguo by BRT. We enjoyed the beauty of natureon the top of the mountain. In the afternoon we went to the beach and swam in the sea. Thewater made us feel cool. We had seafood in the evening.

On the third day， we visited a farm， picked grapes and had a look at the local houses. Wewent shopping in CBD and bought many things for my friends. The people there were veryfriendly.

We enjoyed the trip very much and wanted to visit Lianyungang again some day.

This morning I saw a traffic accident on my way to school. It happened at a crossingnear our school gate. At that time， the traffic lights turned red， but a young man didn’t stop hisbicycle. And he rode very fast. At the same time， a black car came and it hit the man. The manwas badly hurt and the bicycle was also broken. What a terrible scene！ So we should obey thetraffic rules and be careful on the road.

The Story of My Favourite Photo

If someone lets me choose my favourite photo， I will choose this one which was taken onthe Great Wall.

During the last summer vacation， I visited the Great Wall with my parents. My father tookthis photo of me. In the photo， I’m sitting in front of a huge rock. On the rock， there are somewords： One who fails to reach the Great Wall is not a hero.

The Great Wall is one of the greatest wonders in the world. As a Chinese， I’m proud of it.I felt very excited when I stood on it.

Recycling is a great way to save energy， space and money. However， recycling is notthe only way to protect the environment. For example， we can save water by taking shortershowers. It is also important for us to use reusable bottles for drinks and put our lunch in areusable box.

Moreover， if we always remember to turn off the power when our TV sets or computersare not in use， we can save a lot of energy.

It is time for us to take action to make the earth a better place！
