My Good Friend

Zhu Yanxi is my friend. She has straight black hair， big watery eyes， a high nose， and a small cherry mouth. She is a dedicated（專注的） learner. Once， I tried to distract（使分心） her from her homework. I patted her shoulder and suggested， “I’m so boring. Why not stop to play games with me！” She refused and advised me to do mine. At last， we played happily after finishing our homework. She is also very helpful. One day I forgot to bring my pencil case. She lent me her favourite propelling pencil（自动铅笔） at once！

My friend is like a mirror to me， showing my shortcomings（不足）. She is my light， lighting up my way in the dark. She is also my umbrella， sheltering me from the wind and rain.
