On February 4， He Lifeng， Chairman of National Development and Reform Commission， and Ambassador Santiago Cafiero， Minister of Foreign Affairs， International Trade and Worship of Argentina， signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Jointly Promoting the Construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Between the Government of the Peoples Republic of China and the Government of the Argentine Republic on behalf of the Chinese and Argentine governments.

中国调整跨境电商零售进口商品清单

China enriches list for cross-border e-commerce retail imports

财政部等八部门发布公告，自2022年3月1日起，优化调整跨境电子商务零售进口商品清单，增加滑雪用具、番茄汁、高尔夫球用具等29个商品税目，删除刀剑1个商品税目。纳入清单的都是近年来消费需求比较旺盛的商品，这不仅有利于丰富国内市场供给，也有利于促进各国共享中国市场机遇。

China will add a total of 29 product categories including ski equipment， tomato juice， and golf equipment to and delete one product category， namely knives and swords， from the list of imported retail goods for cross-border e-commerce starting from March 1， 2022， according to a statement jointly issued by the Ministry of Finance and seven other departments. All the items included in the list are in high demand by consumers in recent years， which will enrich domestic market supply and provide more opportunities for overseas enterprises.

2022 China International Consumer Products Expo will be held in Haikou from April 12 to 16， with France as the guest of honor. The total exhibition area of the Expo will be expanded from 80，000 square meters of the first session to 100，000 square meters， and the newly-added space is for overseas exhibitors only. Hundreds of activities are expected to be celebrated during the Expo， including new product launches by globally-leading brands and the Global Consumption Forum.

A new batch of anti-epidemic supplies provided by the Chinese government arrived in Honiara， capital of the Solomon Islands， on February 18. The two sides held a brief but grand welcoming ceremony at the airport. The Solomon Islands government and its people are challenged by both COVID-19 and social unrest. China， following the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind， offered anti-epidemic and police supplies at the request of the Solomon Islands.
