The Ningbo Fashion Festival held in October is exploring a new high-quality development path for the industry under the “daul cycle”.
On October 21st, the 2021 Ningbo Fashion Festival were grandly opened. Thee Fashion Festival takes fashion, green and low carbon, intellectual support, market expansion and supply chain optimization as its service direction, and strives to make the Fashion Festival an industrial grand event, a city window and a citizen party.
Qiu Dongyao, deputy secretary of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee and mayor, Liu Pingjun, former deputy director of State Administration for Market Regulation, chairman of China Council for Brand Development, Chen Dapeng, vice president of China National Textile and Apparel Council and president of China National Garment Association, Cao Lisheng, vice president of China General Chamber of Commerce, Yang Xiaojing, vice president of China Sewing Machinery Association, Miao Wenbin, chief engineer of Zhejiang Economic and Information Technology Department, and guests visited the exhibition and the booths of Youngor, Boyang, Baixiao T and other enterprises.

Leaders and guests from relevant departments of China, Zhejiang Province and Ningbo City, experts and professors, industry organizers, heads of well-known enterprises, fashionistas, media, and representatives of fashion festival exhibitors and buyers from all over the country attended the ceremony.
Qiu Dongyao, deputy secretary of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee and mayor said, Ningbo is deeply studying and implementing the spirit of Xi Jinping’s important speechs, and speeding up the construction of a modern coastal metropolis and a leading city for common prosperity. Ningbo takes this Fashion Festival as an opportunity to draw the development route according to the needs of the people and create a famous fashion city. He said that he sincerely hope insiders in the fashion and clothing industry continues to care for and support Ningbo, shares the new opportunities of building a famous fashion city, and creates a new future for the high-quality development of the industry.
Miao Wenbin, chief engineer of Zhejiang Economic and Information Department, also said that the Zhejiang Government attached great importance to the textile and garment industry, and cultivated it as an important part of building a global advanced manufacturing base, so as to continuously promote the high-quality development of the industry. He expects people can communicate with each other the fashion trends from the global perspective in this fashion festival, and inspire high-end fashion brands to gain the new vitality.
Chen Dapeng, said in his speech that Ningbo is not only the birthplace and pioneer of China’s modern garment industry, but also an important garment quality manufacturing base and export base. Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up, Ningbo garment industry has made remarkable achievements with its strong creativity and distinctive integrated industrial system. Ningbo garment industry, based on the city’s humanistic advantages, guided and implemented brand strategy, strengthened brand innovation and value creation, and developed a number of influential and well-known enterprises and brands. After registration, examination and selection, 40 brands including Youngor, Shenzhou, Peacebird and Boyang won the awards.

Later, the launching ceremony of Fashion Innovation 100 was held. It is organized by Youngor Group to bring together 100 creative designers from all over the world to form a comprehensive platform integrating design, creativity and brand incubation.
In the opening ceremony, famous designer Liu Wei joined hands with Romon, “sweater queen” Dan Keyun and other young designers to bring three excellent fashion shows.

It is located in Hall 1-4 and Hall 6 of Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center, with an exhibition area of 28,000 square meters.
