Different countries celebrate Childrens Day on different days. The International Childrens Day is on June 1st.
In China, people celebrate Childrens Day on June 1st. Schools usually hold many activities, such as childrens performances, camping, or watching free movies on Childrens Day.
In Mexico, people celebrate Childrens Day on April 30th. On this day, children will bring their favorite foods to school and share them with their classmates. There are special activities for children in parks and sports centers. Also, families will give presents to children.
In Thailand, people celebrate Childrens Day on the second Saturday of January. There is a different theme about Childrens Day each year. On this day, many government offices are open to children and their families. And children can go to zoos and ride buses for free.
In Japan, people celebrate Childrens Day on November 15th. It is a national holiday for both boys and girls in Japan. Besides, Japanese celebrate Girls Day and Boys Day.
Girls Day is on March 3rd. Families with daughters will decorate their houses with traditional Japanese dolls and peach blossoms to wish their daughters health and happiness.
Boys Day is on May 5th. On this day, each family will hang up colourful carp flags(鯉鱼旗) to express their good wishes to their children.
