In 2021, Shishi City proposed to accelerate the formation of a 100-billion-scale e-commerce regional center and a 100-billion-level international trade distribution center. From April 18th to 20th, the 24th Straits Textile Clothing Fair (referred to as STCF) & 2021 China Pants Industry Brand Expo was held as scheduled.
Relying on China National Textile and Apparel Council to achieve matching
The theme of STCF 2021 is “Integration and Innovation, Sharing a Fashionable New Life”. Fifteen special exhibition halls have been set up, including Cross-Strait Integration Pavilion, Cross-border E-commerce Pavilion, Fabrics and Accessories Pavilion of National Industrial Clusters, Pants Industry Pavilion, Shishi Cultural and Creative Tourism Pavilion, Shishi Fabric Pavilion, Shishi Accessories Pavilion, and Shishi School Uniform Pavilion(Childrens Wear Pavilion). Among them, the Industrial Cluster Pavilion and the Cross-border E-commerce Pavilion were both set up for the first time. The Fair focused on the supply chain of trousers fabrics and accessories, covering the jacket fabric supply chain, mens clothing fabric supply chain, childrens clothing fabric supply chain, and industry public service platforms. In addition, the organizer has set up sub-exhibition areas in Shishi Clothing City, Shishi International Textile City, Shishi Young Entrepreneurs Village and other areas.
For the first time, the STCF relied on the China Textile Information Center under the China National Textile and Apparel Council to attract investment based on market demand. According to statistics, there are more than 140 exhibitors and more than 160 professional brands, bringing better products and better ideas. In addition, there are more than 400 professional visitors.
China Textile Information Center held the Double Circulation Summit Forum for the National Textile and Apparel Industry Cluster for the first time at STCF 2021. Representatives from China National Textile and Apparel Council, textile and apparel industries across the country, and chambers of commerce gathered to discuss the fu-ture development direction of the textile and apparel industry.
Focus on characteristic industrial clusters and promote regional integration
STCF 2021 focuses on national regional industrial clusters for the first time, and strives to promote the integrated development of the textile and apparel industry supply chain and industrial chain between Fujian and the Yangtze River Delta, the Greater Bay Area and Taiwan.
The 2021 China Pants Industry Brand Expo was held for the first time. This year, 15 local leading pants companies from Shishi City participated in the Fair, with an exhibition area of more than 300 square meters. Shishi Pants Industry Association joined hands with member companies to create a “China Pants Industry Ecological Chain Synergy Base”. As the highlight of STCF 2021, China Pants Industry Brand Expo launched a number of supporting activities.
It is understood that this year, Shishi Fabric Industry Association has organized 15 local leading fabric companies to participate in the Fair, creating a Shishi Fabric Pavilion covering an area of 320 square meters. In addition, there were 16 leading local accessory companies participating in the Shishi Accessory Pavilion, jointly exhibiting a number of high-tech and functional fashion accessory products.
Different from previous years, STCF 2021 also set up the Fabrics and Accessories Pavilion of National Industrial Clusters for the first time, with many famous textile and apparel industry clusters from Shanghai, Keqiao, Shengze, Humen, Greater Bay Area, Changle and so on participating in the Fair, and more than 80 percent of the well-known Fujian clothing brands are also organized to participate in the Fair.
The Cross-Strait Integration Pavilion reproduces the millennia-old Fujian embroidery craft. Meanwhile, the joint display of traditional Chinese hand embroidery techniques such as Chaozhou embroidery, Yao embroidery, Chu embroidery, Fujian embroidery, Miao embroidery, Hunan embroidery. In addition, the Taiwan businessmen in the mainland of the Taiwan Textile Federation also participated in the Fair, creating a new situation of cross-strait integration.
It is reported that Outlets (Beijing) Commercial Management Co., Ltd. the only comprehensive cultural and tourism commercial operator in China that integrates outlets + cultural tourism themes + live broadcast base, has signed a contract to settle in Shishi at the end of February this year and established the Outlets Fujian Operation Center and built the Shishi Outlets Shopping Plaza.
Develop new forms of cross-border e-commerce and pay more attention to market channels
In 2020, the online retail sales of Shishi reached 87.94 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 43.4 percent, and online sales accounted for 2.41 percent of the countrys total. At the beginning of 2021, Shishi has made great efforts in cross-border e-commerce and officially launched the “Year of Cross-border E-commerce Development” in January 2021, striving to create a new form of foreign trade with the combination of “crossborder e-commerce + market procurement + foreign trade services”.
STCF 2021 set up a Cross-border e-commerce Pavilion for the first time, and more than a dozen wellknown cross-border e-commerce platforms around the world have settled in. In addition, 2021 China (Shishi) Internet broadcast Trade Fair continued to be held. Last year, Shishis first Internet broadcast Trade Fair had more than 530 million page views, and the citys e-commerce platforms had more than 410 million transactions in two days.
In addition, the 9th Shishi Netrepreneur Conference continued to be held. At present, the country has formed three new netrepreneurs in Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Quanzhou Shishi. Shishi has provided experience for Fujian and even the country to explore new model of ecommerce.
