A total of 25 competition and non-competition venues, located in Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou respectively, will be used at the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
The Beijing Competition Zone will be home to three Olympic winter sports, namely Curling, Ice Hockey and Skating. It will group 12 venues, including eight that were legacy from the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, three newly-built, and one temporary.
1. The National Stadium (Birds’ Nest)—Opening and Closing Ceremonies of Beijing 2022
2. The National Indoor Stadium—Ice Hockey 1
The National Indoor Stadium, in the centre of the Olympic Green, is three kilometres or a five-minute ride from the Olympic Village. It will host Men’s Ice Hockey competitions and has a seating capacity of 18,000.
3. The Wukesong Sports Centre—Ice Hockey 2
The Wukesong Sports Centre, located in the west of Beijing, is 19 kilometres or a 15-minute ride from the Olympic Village. It will be the competition venue for Women’s Ice Hockey and has a seating capacity of 9,000.
4. The Capital Indoor Stadium—Figure Skating/Short-Track Speed Skating
The Capital Indoor Stadium is 10 kilometres or a 10-minute ride from the Olympic Village. With a seating capacity of 18,000, it will host the Short-Track Speed Skating and Figure Skating competitions.
5. The National Aquatics Centre (Water Cube)—Curling
The National Aquatics Centre, in the heart of the Olympic Green, is two kilometres or a five-minute ride from the Olympic Village. Curling competitions will be held here. It has a seating capacity of 4,500.
6. The National Speed Skating Oval—Speed Skating
The National Speed Skating Oval, to be built in the north of the Olympic Green, is six kilometres or a five-minute ride from the Olympic Village. It has a seating capacity of 12,000.
The Yanqing Zone has a total of 5 competition and non-competition venues. 3 sports (Alpine Skiing, Bobsleigh/Skeleton and Luge), 4 disciplines (Alpine Skiing, Bobsleigh, Skeleton and Luge) and 20 events will be held here. The development of Yanqing Zone will improve local transport and infrastructure facilities of surrounding area, and create favourable conditions for regional development. The construction of the venues uses local terrain as much as possible, minimizing environmental impacts, reducing cut and fill, and saving investments. The Olympic Village in Yanqing Zone will accommodate 1,430 athletes and team officials.
National Alpine Ski Centre and National Sliding Centre—Bobsleigh, Skeleton, Luge and Alpine Skiing
The two Centres are located in the northwest of Yanqing District of Beijing, including venues for Bobsleigh, Skeleton, Luge and Alpine Skiing. The Bobsleigh, Skeleton and Luge Tracks are within the National Sliding Centre, which is one kilometre or a five-minute ride from the Olympic Village. The venue will offer a seating capacity of 2,000 and a standing capacity of 8,000 to the spectators. The course for Alpine Skiing will be in the National Alpine Ski Centre, which is six kilometres or a ten-minute ride from the Olympic Village. The venue will offer a seating capacity of 5,000 and a standing capacity of 3,500 to the spectators.
The Zhangjiakou Zone, located in Chongli County, has a history of ski industry for nearly 20 years. Currently, there are 5 existing ski resorts in operation, making it the leader of the national ski industry. It is also a popular ski and holiday destination for ski enthusiasts from surrounding countries.
The Zhangjiakou Zone with a total of 8 competition and non-competition venues, will host 2 sports (Skiing and Biathlon), 50 events out of 6 disciplines (Snowboarding, Freestyle Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Biathlon). Beijing 2022 will use existing resources of the ski resort, and all the renovation works will incorporate with the venue development needs. In this way the construction of Genting Snow Park A and B will be the most cost effective. The Olympic Village in Zhangjiakou Zone will accommodate 2,640 athletes and team officials.
Nordic Centre and Biathlon Centre—Cross Country Skiing, Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Biathlon
The Nordic Centre and Biathlon Centre, located in the east of Chongli County of Zhangjiakou, will be the venues for Cross Country Skiing, Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Biathlon. The Biathlon Centre is three kilometres or a five-minute ride from the Olympic Village. The venue will offer 5,000 fixed seats and a standing capacity of 5,000.
Genting Snow Park—Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard
The Genting Snow Park, located in the east of Chongli County of Zhangjiakou, is four kilometres or a five-minute ride from the Olympic Village. It has two venues: A and B. The Genting Snow Park A and B will be the venues for Freestyle Skiing and Snowboard competitions. The two venues will offer 5,000 fixed seats and a standing capacity of 2,500 respectively.
Master Plan for Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games
The Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games will use five competition venues (the National Indoor Stadium, the National Aquatics Centre, the National Sliding Centre, Genting Snow Park A and Biathlon Centre) to host six sports (Ice Sledge Hockey, Wheelchair Curling, Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Cross Country Skiing and Biathlon). The planning, design and renovation of the venues will meet the requirements of the International Paralympic Committee to ensure full accessibility. Sufficient spaces will be preserved for the wheelchair users.
2022年北京冬奥会及冬残奥会共计划使用25个竞赛及非竞赛场馆,分布在北京市区、北京延庆区和河北张家口3个赛区。
北京市区赛区将进行冬奥会3个大项(冰壶、冰球和滑冰)的比赛。赛区共有场馆12个,其中8个是2008年北京奥运会曾经使用的,另有新建场馆3个、临时场馆1个。

国家体育馆位于奥林匹克公园中心,距离奥运村3公里,车程5分钟,将进行男子冰球比赛,可容纳1.8万名观众。
3. 五棵松体育中心——冰球(部分)
五棵松体育中心位于北京西部,距离奥运村19公里,车程15分钟,将进行女子冰球的比赛,可容纳9000名观众。
4. 首都體育馆——花样滑冰/短道速滑
首都体育馆距离奥运村10公里,车程10分钟。该馆可容纳1.8万名观众,将进行短道速滑和花样滑冰的比赛。
5. 国家游泳中心(水立方)——冰壶
国家游泳中心位于奥林匹克公园中心,距离奥运村2公里,车程5分钟。该中心将进行冰壶比赛,可容纳4500名观众。
6. 国家速滑馆——速度滑冰
国家速滑馆将建于奥林匹克公园的北部,距离奥运村6公里,车程5分钟。该馆可容纳1.2万名观众。
延庆赛区共有5个竞赛及非竞赛场馆,将进行3个大项(高山滑雪、雪车/钢架雪车和雪橇)、4个分项(高山滑雪、雪车、钢架雪车和雪橇)、20个小项的比赛。延庆赛区的开发将改善周边地区的交通及基础设施,为地区发展创造良好的条件。其场馆建造会尽可能利用当地的地形地势,将对环境的影响减到最小,减少挖填,节省投资。延庆赛区的奥运村将可接待运动员和随队官员1430人。
国家高山滑雪中心和国家滑道中心——雪车、钢架雪车、雪橇和高山滑雪
这两个中心位于北京延庆区的西北部,包含雪车、钢架雪车、雪橇和高山滑雪的比赛场地。雪车、钢架雪车和雪橇的滑道都在国家滑道中心内,中心距离奥运村1公里,车程5分钟。该中心将提供可容纳2000名观众的座位区和8000名观众的站位区。高山滑雪的比赛将在国家高山滑雪中心举行,该中心距离奥运村6公里,车程10分钟。该中心将提供可容纳5000名观众的座位区和3500名观众的站位区。
张家口赛区位于张家口市崇礼县。该赛区拥有近20年的滑雪产业发展历史。目前,有5个正在运营的现成滑雪场,使其成为中国滑雪产业发展的龙头区。这里还是周边国家滑雪爱好者青睐的滑雪度假胜地。
张家口赛区共有8个竞赛及非竞赛场馆,将进行2个大项(滑雪和冬季两项)、6个分项(单板滑雪、自由式滑雪、越野滑雪、跳台滑雪、北欧两项和冬季两项)、50个小项的比赛。2022年北京冬奥会将充分利用现有滑雪场的各项资源,结合场地发展需求进行所有改造。因此,云顶滑雪公园场地A和B的建造将是最节省成本的。张家口赛区的奥运村将可接待运动员和随队官员2640人。
北欧中心和冬季两项中心——越野滑雪、跳台滑雪、北欧两项和冬季两项
北欧中心和冬季两项中心位于张家口崇礼县东部,将进行越野滑雪、跳台滑雪、北欧两项和冬季两项的比赛。冬季两项中心距奥运村3公里,车程5分钟。该中心将提供5000个固定座位和5000个站位。
云顶滑雪公园——自由式滑雪和单板滑雪
云顶滑雪公园位于张家口崇礼县东部,距离奥运村4公里,车程5分钟。它有两个比赛场:A和B。云顶滑雪公园A和B将进行自由式滑雪和单板滑雪的比赛。这两个场地将分别提供5000个固定座位和2500个站位。
2022年北京冬残奥会总体规划
2022年北京冬残奥会将使用5个比赛场馆(国家体育馆、国家游泳中心、国家滑道中心、云顶滑雪公园A和冬季两项中心)进行6个大项(冰橇冰球、轮椅冰壶、高山滑雪、单板滑雪、越野滑雪和冬季两项)的比赛。场馆的规划、设计和改造将符合国际残疾人奥委会的要求,以确保完全无障碍。轮椅使用者将有足够的活动空间。
