10月14日，中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平在深圳经济特区建立40 周年庆祝大会上发表重要讲话。海外各界人士表示，在经济全球化遭遇逆流，贸易保护主义、单边主义上升的当下，讲话向世界展示了中国在更高起点上推进改革开放的信心决心，彰显出中国坚定不移推动建设开放型世界经济的责任担当，世界期待更多参与中国经济特区的改革开放发展，与中国携手构建共商共建共享共赢新格局。

Chinese President Xi Jinping, also General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission,delivered an important speech at a conference celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. As the economic globalization retrogresses and trade protectionism and unilateralism reemerge, the speech showed foreign countries China’s confidence and determination on further promoting reform and opening-up and its unswerving attitudes towards the building of an open world economy. The world is expecting a greater role in reform and opening-up in special economic zones of China and will work with the country for shared growth and win-win results through consultation and collaboration.
