Looking For Mum找妈妈

葡萄树上住着一只毛毛虫（caterpillar），毛毛虫感到非常孤单，他好想念自己的妈妈。于是，他踏上了寻找妈妈的旅程。他的妈妈是谁？他找到妈妈了吗？Let'sread the story.

A caterpillar lives in a grape tree.

He is alone and he misses his mum.

So， he begins to look for his mum.

The caterpillar meets a little snake.

"Are you my mum？" asks the caterpillar.

"No， I'm not your mum，" says the snake.

"I'm a snake."

"Do you know my mum？" asks the caterpillar.

"Your mum is a butterfly，" says the snake.

"She's beautiful. She can fly."

The caterpillar meets a bird.

"Are you my mum？" asks the caterpillar.

"No， I'm not your mum. I'm a bird."

"Where can I find my mum？" asks thecaterpillar.

"Your mum is a butterfly，" says the bird.

"She often flies in flowers.

A bee is flying in flowers.

"Are you my mum？" asksthe caterpillar.

"No， I'm not your mum，says the bee. "I'm a bee."

"Do you know my mum？" asks the caterpillar.

"Your mum is a butterfly，" says the bee.

"Look， she's over there."

The caterpillar climbs tothe butterfly.

"Mum！ Mum！ I miss youso much，" says the caterpillar.

"My dear baby， I missyou， too，" says the butterfly.

"Mum， why can't Ifly？ " asks the caterpillar.

"My baby， when yougrow up， you can fly， too."says the butterfly.

A few days later， the caterpillar becomes a butterfly.

He dances happily with his mum in flowers.

蝴蝶的一生要經历四个阶段：卵、幼虫、蛹、成虫。毛毛虫要变成蝴蝶非常辛苦，所以常用“Broken cocoon into abutterfly（破茧成蝶）”来指虫儿通过痛苦的挣扎和不懈的努力，化为蝴蝶的过程。人们也用此来比喻一个人重获新生、走出困境。
