Today I will share one common habit of every successful people, which helped them to grow and move ahead in life and that common habit is reading. They know that reading will help them improve, and gaining knowledge never goes out of fashion.
1. Warren Buffet
When Warren Buffet was once asked about the key to success, he gave credit to the books. As we all know, Warren Buffet is the second richest person in the world and also known as the number one investor. When Warren Buffet started his career, he would read thousands of pages per day. Even today, he spends more than 60 percent of his day reading.
2. Bill Gates
Bill Gates is the co founder and chairman of Microsoft. In one of the interviews, Bill Gates was asked if reading has been essential to his success. Bill Gates replied, “You dont really start getting old until you stop learning.” He also insists that every book teaches him something new and helps him see things differently. He holds that reading fuels a sense of curiosity about the world, which has helped him move forward in his career.
3. Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan, also known as SRK, is an Indian actor, producer and television personality. He is a superstar in India and has worldwide fans. He has worked more than 80 Hindi films in genres including romance, action and comedy. When asked about reading, Shahrukh Khan said, “I read anything and everything. I read three to four books at a time. I go to bookstores when I am in London or America. I get a coffee and keep browsing for hours, something I cant do in India. I come back home with a bagful of books. I am always stopped at customs as they think I am carrying some heavy electronic items.”
4. J.K. Rowling
J.K. Rowling, the writer of the very famous book Harry Potter, started her writing career at the age of 6 when she wrote a story called Rabbit. At the age of 25, she thought of writing the very famous book Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling grew up surrounded by books as her parents loved reading. She said that she lived for books. She had a burning desire to become a writer, so she spent a lot of time reading books.
Not only these famous people but almost every successful famous people love to read, because they understand the value of knowledge and how it can help them grow and move ahead in life.
