[Abstract] Objective To investigate the effect of perioperative nursing intervention on abdominal shell surgery in diabetic patients. Methods From June 2016 to June 2017, 60 patients with diabetes who underwent routine abdominal surgery in our hospital were divided into control group. From July 2017 to July 2018, 60 patients with diabetes mellitus with the surgical operation of our hospital for abdominal surgery who underwent surgical intervention were divided into the observation group, and the clinical indicators and complication rates of the two groups were compared. Results 1.There were no significant differences in fasting blood glucose and postprandial 2 h blood glucose levels between the two groups(P>0.05). After the nursing, the observation group was significantly lower than the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05); indicating that the blood glucose control effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group. 2.Comparative statistical results showed that there was a significant difference in hospital stay, incision healing time, intraoperative blood glucose and postoperative blood glucose levels between the control group and the observation group(P<0.05). 3.The incidence of complications in the observation group was 3.33%, which was significantly lower than that in the control group(13.33%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Perioperative nursing intervention in diabetic abdominal surgery is effective. It can significantly control the blood glucose index, shorten the hospitalization time and incision healing time, greatly reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, and is conducive to the recovery of the body.
