Do you have a pet？ Every day when you go to school， what does your pet do at home？ A movie called The Secret Life of Pets（《愛宠大机密》） will give you the answer.

The movie starts at an apartment（公寓楼） in New York City. Different kinds of pets live there. They are dogs， cats， birds and other animals. The apartment’s top dog， Max， is a happy and loyal（忠心耿耿的） terrier（小猎犬）. He is the favorite pet of his owner Katie. But one day， Katie brings home another dog， Duke. From that day on， everything changes in the apartment.

Duke is a big mongrel（混种狗）. He is very sloppy（邋遢的）. He doesn’t know how to live with other pets. He always makes a mess（搞成一团糟）.

Snowball is a white rabbit. He looks very small and lovely. But that’s not true. He also has a dark side（阴暗面）.

Chloe is a fat cat. When her owners are away， she often eats the food in the fridge. She is Max’s best friend.
