How to cultivate interest in English learning?

In the contemporary world， it has become a popular trend for people to learn English and it is of great importance for young adults to grasp the fundamentals of how to learn the language. However， we should find plethora ways to cultivate our interest towards learning English.

Interest can be a very good teacher.It guides you to discover things you are interested in and explore the mysteries of some amazing things.The famous basketball player Michael Jordan once said “I love this game” when asked why he could get great achievements in basketball .Interest became the teacher of   Jordan.

The love of basketball took him into the glory of success.Rooted in everyones  heart ，interest is not far away from us，whats the most important is how you take it.And how to cultivate interest in English learning？

Firstly， we are not to restrict ourselves to the task of compulsive learning. We must develop and explore other avenues of learning English. For example， watching news， reading newspapers listening to great speakers and reading books with good grammar. However， we are not to lose our image in the mix of learning English. Language is accompanied with culture between the two exists a fine line which makes it easy to cross over the next culture. Above all， developing an interest can serve a great deal. Just as the saying goes， “Interest is the best teacher”. So if we can treat English as one of our interests and hobbies， we will naturally become good at it.

Secondly ，to use English songs to improve our listening and speaking.It's an innovative and efficient method to use English songs to improve our interest in listening and speaking. English songs cover a wide range of subjects. The language is beautiful and poetic and the music is graceful and rhythmic. Apart from this，English songs also reflect a great variety of foreign cultures.Finding enjoyment in learning English yields the ability to speak the language fluently and sound much like a native speaker. In general， good language communicating skills Opens doors for many who seek to use English when conversing with people who are familiar with the language. For instance， we should seize every opportunity which calls for communicating in English. by doing so we gain substantial progress and confidence.

Thirdly， we must engage ourselves more often in activities that encourage the usage of English. In addition， the queens language commonly known as （English） is a discipline with rules that ought to be followed. By doing so， we own the rights to speaking the language with command which in return allows us to observe grammatical punctuation.

As a high school student， I am convinced that it is of great necessity for we students to cultivate interest in learning English. Thus， we should educate， advocate and encourage our friends to learn and use English. Spare no efforts to do so， we can push our English learning to a higher level.
