Books are a great way of learning more about the world around us.Making a habit out of reading can improve your studies.It can also give you a glimpse（一瞥）of people，places and ideas that youve never imagined.

How do you feel about horror（恐怖）stories？ Some people might think theyre scary，but they can be fun as well.The Goosebumps book series is a good example of this.

Mellos book is about the importance of kindness and the danger of greed（贪婪）.It shows how one small action can have many different results（后果）.

《坏狐狸》是一本很有名的绘本图书，最近根据这个绘本拍成的电影上映了，电影名也没改多少，就叫《大坏狐狸的故事》。我们先来说说这个故事吧。

The big bad fox dreams of being a bad guy on a farm.But no one is afraid of him.He dreams of eating chickens.But when he fights with the hens（母鸡），he always loses.The wolf（狼）is the most fearsome（可怕的）animal in the forest.But even the wolf cant teach the fox how to catch chickens.

大坏狐狸梦想成为农场里的坏人，但谁都不怕它。它梦想吃鸡，但与母鸡打架，它总是输。狼是森林中最可怕的动物，可是连狼也教不会狐狸怎么抓鸡。

But then，the wolf suggests an idea.If the fox steals（偷）some eggs，he can hatch（孵）some chicks himself.When the chicks grow up to be big，the wolf and the fox will eat them for dinner.

后來，狼想出了一个主意。如果狐狸偷一些鸡蛋，并自己孵化出一些小鸡。等小鸡长大后，狼和狐狸就可以把它们当晚餐吃了。
