This actually can be attributed to the originality and perseverance of the design, commitment and innovation, and China Shishi International Fashion Week starts again in 2018. As the fashion resource of “Min school clothing”, under the city development strategy of “promotion of the development of city with industrial innovation and transformation”, China Shishi International Fashion Week takes the exploration of design talents as its responsibility, the discover of college design stars as driving force to show the charm of regional industries, and builds an innovative fashion stage that integrates the sharing characteristics of regional industries and national original design resources.
Joint show of whole series of brands
It is for the first time this week that a joint show of local brands appears on the fashion week show, which gathers the most representative and influential brands of Shishi clothing, covering business menswear, fashion wear, womens wear, and childrens wear. JJLKids,“Chinas top ten kidswear” brand, Edenbo, the representative brand of “Min school clothing”, Jinyuan, representative brand of Fujian womens wear, and STAVA, Chinas important domestic fashion brand, joint together to play the “show”, which reproduces diverse charm of Shishi brands.
Innovation and transformation inspirited by design
It is the design that is the root of clothing, and the advantage of the brand. Shishi is known as the “foundation for cultivating Golden Tripod Award designers and the Top Ten designers.” It has cultivated many famous designers in the domestic clothing design community, such as Ji Wenbo, Yang Ziming, Zeng Fengfei, Chen Wen, and Liu Yong. They are closely related to the growth and expansion of leading brands such as Cabbeen, Septwolves, Edenbo, LILANZ and other “Min school clothing” brands in the domestic fashion design industry.
As the initiator of the Fujian Fashion Designer Association, Shishi carries the banner of “Min school clothing”. The “Selection Activity of Top Ten Fashion Designers in Fujian Province” is named after Shishi and makes final show on the opening show at Shishi International Fashion Week in China, which is sufficient to illustrate the influence and position of Shishi in the fashion design community. In addition, Shishi is the third city of establishing fashion designer associations in the province after Fujian Fashion Designer Association and Xiamen Fashion Designer Association. Shishi Fashion Designer Association is also the first fashion designer association established in the county-level city in China.
In addition to fashion show conducted by Fujian Provinces top ten costume designers and Shishi Fabrics in Shishi this year, Shishi Fashion Designer Association also holds a joint fashion show to express Shishi local fashion style. At the same time, the selection of the second the “Clothing City” Cup for Shishi Top Ten Fashion Designers and Outstanding Clothing Design Studios is also actively carried out to find more design talents and richer design resources for Shishi and “Min school clothing”.
Attendance of famous designers for the fashion show
From the first Shishi International Fashion Week to the present, the“Golden Tripod Award Designer” and “Top Ten Designers” have attended in every fashion week, and the vast majority of them have become famous when working at Shishi. Among them, Zeng Fengfei and Yang Zi attend this Fashion Week in Shishi.
Born in the tailors family, Yang Zi is not only Chinas top 10 fashion designer, but also a vice president of European fashion trend. This year, he will hold “Suitable Time-Space” 2018 new product launch event.
Zeng Fengfei is the winner of the 16th China Fashion Clothing Designer with “Golden Tripod Award” and has been at the forefront of the China Fashion Show. He has won “Chinas Best Menswear Designer Reward” for three times consecutively ten years ago and attended most frequently to the “Golden Tripod Award” held in Shishi. Its “FENGFEI·Z”brand creates Chinese-style high-end customized costumes with “Chinese style” through a large-scale integration of Chinese elements. A series of 2018 spring and summer works of “A story of brocade” made by song brocade, the national intangible cultural heritage, designed by Zeng Fengfei are displayed on this years closing ceremony of China Shishi International Fashion Week.
Activities of Shishi E-Commerce with profound accumulation
As the new retail era comes, traditional offline brands have been sold online, and pure e-commerce platforms have also developed the offline sale outlets. Although Shishi e-commerce has achieved extraordinary achievement on the basis of the rapid development of the Internet, and Alibaba, Jingdong, Vipshop and Pinduoduo contend to take the more market share of Shishi, Shishi single e-commerce brands with low profile rarely participate in fashion launch events. This year, under the guidance of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, and the impetus of the Shishi Electric Commerce Association, the online popular brands such as GUUKA, Legend Paul, Tapoo Fashion Sports, and Norvincy have interpreted the reason that the Shishi e-commerce business is able to draw the industrys attention. The gathering of the four ecommerce brands is not only a systematic summary of Shishi e-commerce development for more than ten years, but also a perfect appearance of Shishi e-commerce major brands.
Take originality as the foundation, colleges and universities as resources
In recent years, Shishi has been deeply cultivating talents from colleges and universities and looking forward to finding more college personnel to serve the transformation of Shishi textile and clothing industry, to make efforts for the rapid development of Shishi, and to contribute to the transformation of Chinas textile and clothing industry.
Before 2018, Shishi had successfully held six“Shishi Cup” national clothing design competitions for college graduates. Many new designers who participated in the competition have now become senior designers of many brand companies and have become an important force in Chinas fashion design. In fact, it is rare for a county-level city to hold a national clothing design competition for college graduates, which fully demonstrates the approval and support to Shishi from China National Textile & Apparel Council, China National Garment Association, China Fashion Association and other national industry associations.
In 2018, the Seventh National University Graduates Fashion Design Contest will be held as usual; the two local universities, Minnan University of Science and Technology and Quanzhou textile and clothing vocational college, hold their own school studentsexcellent work show at Minnan University of Science and Technology, which is also for the first time that China Shishi International Fashion Week set up its branch venues within universities; Quanzhou Normal University, together with Donghua University, Xiamen University, Asia University, Taiwan, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, etc., hold a joint launch event with the scientific and technological sense for apparel with science and technology.
