Afrocet Montgomery launches NFE

Lagos， Nigeria will see a new B2B exhibition and conference organised by global leaders in food， drink and hospitality exhibitions and with the largest food technology trade show in the region， Afrocet Montgomery. The Nigerian Food Event（NFE） will not only cater to businesses operating within the food industry， but with the inclusion of two other incorporated exhibitions， the Nigerian Drink Event and the Nigerian Hospitality Event， it will also cover beverage and hospitality.

George Pearson， Afrocet Montgomerys regional director commented on the launch： "We are really pleased to announce this launch， its something weve been working towards for a while and its exciting to see the sheer volume of interest weve already received. " The inaugural edition of NFE is set to take place in Lagos， Nigeria October 22 to 24， 2019 at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island.

Security event to launch in Birmingham

British company Western Business Exhibitions （WBE） will be working with Messe Essen on its new fair "The Security Event". This cooperation project is hoped to give European security businesses a comprehensive platform for business operations in the UK. "The Security Event – powered by Security Essen" will be held from April 9 to 11， 2019 at the National Exhibition Centre （NEC） in Birmingham.

It will be co-located alongside three established exhibitions from the WBE portfolio： The Health & Safety Event， The Fire Safety Event and The Facilities Event， and is expected to host over 100 of the worlds leading security brands. securityessen.de/ westernbusinessexhibitions

Reed Exhibitions again ranked first regarding 2017 total revenue

Boasting a total revenue of 1，264 m for 2017， Reed Exhibitions （GB） has ranked first in a study of exhibition revenues worldwide published by the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry （Auma） in August 2018. Another British firm – UBM – followed in second place with979 million， with German trade fair organiser Messe Frankfurt taking third place at 669.1 m. Informa （631.1 m）， likewise from the UK， ranked fourth –although following the merger of Informa and UBM in June 2018， the new group is likely to make first place next year. The fifth and sixth places went to GL events （France， 81.9 m） and the MCH Group （Switzerland， EUR 421.8 m）， while places seven to ten were taken by yet another four German event organisers： Messe Düsseldorf （367.0 m）， K？lnmesse（357.9 m）， Hanover-based Deutsche Messe （356.4 m）， and Messe München （332.6 m）.
