A 10 Billion-grade Base Built by the World’s LargestCopper Processing Company in Jiangjin District

On May 15,the Southwestern Copper Production Base invested by Zhejiang Hailiang Co.,Ltd.,the world’s largest copper processing company,started construction in Luohuang Industrial Park,Jiangjin District.With a total investment of 3 billion yuan,the annual output value at maximum production capacity is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan,which means another 10 billion scale enterprise comes into being in Jiangjin District.

The project signed on February 7 this year settled in Luohuang Industrial Park of Jiangjin District,covering an area of 230 mu.It will

build an annual output of 90,000 tons of new high-efficiency refrigeration copper pipes and 60,000 tons of high-precision conductive copper bars.The project will be implemented in two phases.The first phase of the project is expected to be completed by the end of December 2018.So far,the industrial and commercial registrations,record filings,construction land planning approvals and program design approvals have been completed,and a sales company has been established.The second phase is expected to be completed by December 2021.

Zhejiang Hailiang Co.,Ltd.is a listed company controlled by Hailiang Group Co.,Ltd.and is mainly engaged in the research and development,production,sales,and service of high-grade copper products,copper-aluminum composite materials,and aluminum profiles.It is one of the largest,and the most competitive copper processing companies in the world,and also one of the largest exporters of copper pipes and copper pipe joints in China.In 2017,the company realized operating revenue of 29.816 billion yuan and total profit of 705 million yuan.According to the strategic cooperation framework agreement signed earlier between Hailiang Group and the Jiangjin District Government,projects in education,health,and modern agriculture will be established successively in Jiangjin District in addition to the investment and construction of copper production bases in the District.
