TMR Clinical Research：a clinical reference journal for traditional medicine physicians

After a long period of preparation,TMR Clinical Research,an English international academic journal focusing on the clinicalresearch ofmodern medicine and traditional medicine,has been finally launched.On behalf of TMR Clinical Research team,I would like to acknowledge all the members oftheTraditionalMedicineResearch(TMR)editorial board for their great support and help.We warmly welcome our readers and contributors continue to pay attention to TMR Clinical Research.

Traditionalmedicine has shown a unique advantage and distinctive feature in many areas and plays an irreplaceable role worldwide.Chinese medicine individualises its treatment plan and practice.Therefore,Chinese medicine practitioners do not have the tradition of research.The common methodology forconducting clinicaltrialson modern medicine is logical and useful,and has played a vital role on new methods of clinical treatment.The proper analysis of data and the use of statistics have shown the reliability of certain accumulated experience, while revealing the fallaciesofsome wellaccepted and widely practised methods.According to the status and problems,it is concluded that the TMR Clinical Research has become necessary and urgent.Combined traditionalmedicine with modern technologiescan promote theinheritanceand innovation of traditional medicine.TMR Clinical Research constructs a research and publication platform for dialogue, exchange and communication between traditional medicine and modern medicine.It aims to examine clinical treatment methods in traditional medicine,modern medicine or integrative medicine from a global perspective and international standard,and improve the level of clinical services.We hope that this journal will be an impetus for creating bridges among traditional medicine,modern medicine,and as a platform for debating and discoursing about important issues in clinical research.

TMR Clinical Research focuses on the publication of innovative, scientific medical researches and sets up clinical epidemiology,metaanalysis,retrospective study,prospective study,case report,data mining,protocol,review columns.Areas related to both traditional medicine and modern medicine about clinical research are of interest.As the sister journalof TMR,TMR Clinical Research pays more attention to clinical research.
