The first stage of the international training program was held in Taiyuan for studying the relevant theoretical knowledge about detergent and surfactant. During the second stage, the group went to Xi'an to visit Shaanxi University of Science and Technology (SUST), a well-known university in the field of light industry. Then, the team visited two representative universities in Shanxi (Shanxi University and North University of China). Specifically, when the participants stayed in Taiyuan, they also visited the organizer RIDCI, including National Engineering Research Center for Surfactants, National Center of Quality Supervision and Testing for Detergents, China Standardization Center for Surfactant/Detergent and China Information Center of Daily Chemical Industry. These site visits were organized to enable the participants to get more exposure on the new technologies that were deployed by the Chinese companies. In order to make the foreign participants have a pleasant stay in China, the organizer especially arranged Halal food and Muslim temple for praying in advancein terms of the religion belief. The 20-day study tour was indeed very informative and the objectives set out were to expose the participants via esperiential learning lectures. Potential cooperation between China and recipient countries will mainly be manifested in aspects such as technology exchange, personnel training and exchange of academicvisits, product sharing, market development and sales. All parties need to communicate with each other andanalyze the specific pros and cons of each side before starting cooperation. The focus will be on technology development and marketing sales of environment friendly products with good safety performance. This is to meet the demand and supply in global market and to comply with the basic concept of sustainable development to achieve the goal of win-win.The successful hosting of 2018 international training program on Environment Friendly and Safety of Household Care Chemical Products Technical Training won the professional guidance and strong supports from Chinese government. The 2018 international training program was held for the third time by RIDCI. It accomplished all the tasks efficiently and was fully praised by all foreign participants. This was the great efforts made by all parties. It needed to conscientiously review and summarize the merits and deficiencies, so as to further improveits general level. Due to the different research backgrounds and professional standards of participants, it was unavoidable that a unified explanation would not be able to meet the needs of all the participants. Therefore, according to the feedback from participants, it was necessary to analyze the exchange method and try to use grouping discussion to make up for this shortcoming.
