Located in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong, T · PARK embodies good design as it serves to transform knowledge of science into bene fi cial application, waste into energy,and perception into behaviour. It enlists technology and creativity in order to turn sludge into energy, ash,and residues. The facility, besides generating power and reducing waste, is also open to the public as a park-like leisure space and educational facility. The improbable but marvellous combination of sludge,power generation, greenery, and design is why T ·PARK marks a new trend in waste management and treatment that wins the hearts and minds of a wide variety of stakeholders.
