排灯节,又称万灯节、印度灯节,是印度教等“以光明驱走黑暗,以善良战胜邪恶”的节日,于每年10月或11月中举行。由于这个节日也被视为财富女神拉什米(Lakshmi)的节日,因此家家户户都会清洁打扫,点燃蜡烛与油灯,等着女神大驾光临。印度的小朋友们最喜欢过排灯节了,因为有美食、有焰火,还有新衣服穿。我们一起去感受一下吧。
Diwali is the festival of lights.
Mother buys us new saris.
Father buys us necklaces.

We clean the house.
We bake some cakes and cookies.
We cook some food.
Father lights the diyas in the garden.
We go to grandma’s house.
