As an old saying goes, every living thing is full of energy in this lovely season of early Summer. On 15 May, the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation came to a successful conclusion in Beijing. Total 76 major achievements and more than 270 specific results have been made on the Forum, covering five major terms of connectivity of policy, infrastructure, trade, finance and people to people.

In the background of global economic downturn, the Belt and Road Initiative has become the representative of new-type globalization. Through nearly-4-year unremitting efforts, this Initiative develops extensively from nothing, and its progress and achievements are beyond expectations, constantly exerting its powerful influence.

Many countries and regions along the belt - road line connect their development strategies with the Belt and Road initiative. This Initiative gathers the vast power of co-prosperity and development by seeking for the greatest common divisor in cooperation. The response of both US and Japan which ever suspected, looked on and actively participated in the Initiative has become a hot point in media.

The Belt and Road Initiative has made a good start, but should still be carried forward practically. Just as President Xi Jinping put, the “greatest truths are the simplest, but both real practice and solid work are most important”. We should seize the new opportunities for investment in the new construction stage, and build the Belt and Road into the roads of peace, prosperity, opening, innovation and civilization.

Recently, the Beijing CBD Management committee held policy and regulations interpreting meetings in succession, and helped the enterprises in the district further understand the contents and background of policies and regulations. At the time of enhancing the learning exchange, the Beijing CBD also actively promoted the exchanges among all members of China CBD Alliance.

Since the Belt and Road initiative was put forth in 2013 and under the guidance of co-consultation, co-building and share, the Initiative has witnessed important phased objectives, realized a major leaping development from theoretical assumption to innovative practice, and ushered in a new stage of comprehensively advancing practical cooperation.

Beijing CBD Coming on 2017 CIFTIS

The Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) was held at the National Convention Center in Beijing from May 28 to June 1. As one of the overall pilot demonstration areas where there the opening-up of service industry in Chaoyang District, the Beijing CBD actively participated in the CIFTIS, fully displaying the development achievements of Beijing CBD.
