吃是古今中外人类生活中天大的事，既然是大事，那就没有理由不努力。从为果腹使尽浑身解数，到为满足口腹之欲绞尽脑汁；从饥不择食到讲究色香味俱全，人类一直为如何吃得更好而努力。

天上飞的、地上跑的、水里游的、树上长的、地里藏的，应有尽有，几乎都进了我们的肚子里；炒、爆、熘、炸、煨、焐、煎、烧、焖、炖、蒸、氽、煮、烩、炝、腌、拌、扒、烤、卤、冻、拔丝、熏，各施其法，各显神通；一切都为了一个字——吃。

这正应了那句话，开门七件事：柴米油盐酱醋茶。
