The Indonesia International Garment and Textile Machinery & Accessory Expo (INDO INTERTEX) 2017, with the theme of “Increasing Productivity through Sustainability”, will be back for its 15th edition from April 19 - 21, 2017, in Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO). The 2017 edition show will span over 15,000 square meters in 6 halls and is expected to attract upwards of 10,000 visitors across Indonesia and neighbor countries with opening hours from Wednesday-Friday: 10 am – 6 pm.

China Textile: As the organizer, how do you position and evaluate the exhibition, especially in terms of difficulties and improvements during the course of development. Will you share with us your ways to deal with the difficulties?
For the past years, I have noticed disparity among participants of B2B trade show, especially those participated with international pavilion groups, which not only happens to INDO INTERTEX, but to all major B2B events. In a way to deal with this kind of problem, we assist and instruct our international agents to sort out those exhibitors with high technology and in-demand as our priority exhibitors.
China Textile: Could you share with us the highlights of the exhibitions? And what efforts has the organizer made?
There are three shows held in one venue, including INATEX 2017-Indonesia International Creative Textile Apparel Accessories Exhibition, INDO TEXPRINT 2017 - Indonesia International Digital Textile Printing Exhibition and ASIA next big emerging opportunities – Indonesia as potential Textile Sector.
Indonesian strategic location offers easy access to all neighboring economies as well as opportunity to experience the pulse of local customers and Indonesian huge market population base. INDO INTERTEX + INATEX 2017 again presents with a more unique platform before the enactment of the ASEAN Economic Community and the expansion of free trade zone treaty for the European Union countries and the United States. By providing a unique platform for both local and international buyers, INDO INTERTEX + INATEX 2017 can interchange their communication on Indonesian textile, garment and textile products.
Indonesia will emerge as a major sourcing destination for new buyers coming all over the regions. As a measure of growing interest in the Indonesian textile and clothing sector, buoyant retailers and brands across the world will look for options of increasing their sourcing from Indonesian markets. Indonesian manufacturers are also proactively working towards enhancing their capacities to fulfill this increased demand.
At present, the industry is being driven by subjects such as increasing digitalization and sustainable production processes. More than 400 international brands from 20 countries are being demonstrated and these subjects play an important role at INDO INTERTEX + INATEX 2017.

China Textile: As we know, to promote the matching of commerce and trade is one of important function of exhibition. How will it be reflected and whether it will be strengthened in this exhibition?

China Textile: INDO INTERTEX attracts many exhibitors and visitors from all over the world every year, due to its good services and reputation. Could you please talk about the most attractiveness of the exhibition both to the exhibitors and the visitors?
From the exhibitors perspective, INDO INTERTEX is a complete success. The quality of the product presentations is outstanding both functionally and visually. That also applies to the increasing quality and internationality of the trade visitors, and to the supporting program, which once again strengthens the shows appeal. The current positive state of the economy certainly could contribute to the success of this years fair.
China Textile: In recent years, is there any new change of INDO INTERTEX, especially the aspect of services to the exhibitors?
We offer regular comprehensive solutions for each and individual exhibitors, which include stand construction services, press activities, seminars and other technical and logistic guidelines, marketing and promotion to raise their awareness for effective publicity and several new channels, which exhibitors are still adapting such as: online business match making, online social media with all the information given by each company free of charge to realize all necessary preparation for the exhibition.
China Textile: Whats the strategic development plan of INDO INTERTEX in the future?
