羽美绥螨Ameroseius plumosus Oudemans,1902隶属蜱螨亚纲,寄螨总目(Parasitiformes),中气门目(Mesostigmata),囊螨总科(Ascoidea),美绥螨科(Amerosiidae),美绥螨属(Ameroseius)(Beaulieu et al.,2011)。Bernhard(1963)根据德国的标本描述雌雄螨和第2若螨;Bregelova(1977)在前苏联土壤螨类鉴定手册检索表中列有该种简要特征,并引用Beernhard的雌雄螨图片。顾以铭等(1986)报道在贵阳孟连黄胸鼠上采到的该螨。Chmielewski(1990)报道羽美绥螨是波兰常见螨类,在大黄蜂巢内,蜂房的尘埃和黄蜂采集的花粉,是储藏花粉重要的害螨。周洪福和孟阳春(1991)在中国革螨名录表中列有该种,但未见具体分布的记录;Narita et al.(2013)报道羽美绥螨在南美巴西分布。申效诚等(2014)《河南昆虫志区系及分布》一书中,该种分布河南平顶山。本文根据中国的标本,重新描述羽美绥螨(图1)。
雌螨(图1):体微黄色,椭圆形,长409-430(平均416)μm,宽269-323(平均301)μm。背板覆盖整个背面,布满网纹,前部有圆形花饰。板上28对刚毛,稍宽,膜质透明,边缘波浪形,有纵脉,由前向后逐次变长,而F1边缘具小刺。腹面各板均布满网纹。胸板前缘双凸,后缘较直,中部有1较大圆形凹坑,St1和St2在板上,St3在1对圆形独立小板上,胸后毛位于板外表皮上。生殖板近梯形,具1对生殖毛。腹肛板较大,横椭圆形,前缘微凹,板上具2对肛前毛和3根围肛毛。Ad位于肛孔中横线水平,Ad与PA均短于肛孔,PA稍粗。1对足后板,椭圆形。4对腹表皮毛,腹后毛同背毛。气门沟细长,前端达到颚基。头盖三角形,前端尖。螯钳短,定趾具4小齿。颚角细,顶端3齿。足毛短,末端细尖。

Female.Length of idiosoma 409-430(av.416) μm,width 269-323(av.301) μm.Dorsal shield covering entire dorsum reticulated,anterior region with circular ornamentations.Dorsal setae 28 pairs,broader,membranous,undulated at margins,with longitudinal vein,but F1barbed.Shields of venter reticulated.Sternal shield with a large hollow on surface,bearing 2 pairs of setae,St3situated on free small platelets,MSt on cuticle behind the shields.Genital shield with 1 pair of setae.Ventro-anal shield large,anterior margin concave,with 2 pairs of preanal setae and 3 perianal setae.Ad situated at level of middle of anus,both Ad and PA shorter than anus.Metapodal shields 1 pair,oval.Peritreme reaching to gnathosomal base anteriorly.Tectum triangular,anterior angle sharp.Chela short,fixed digit quadridentate.Corniculus narrow,tridentate distally.
