Apple Pay to Launch in China on February 18
Apple Pay于2月18日凌晨5时正式上线,首批宣布支持苹果Apple Pay的15家银行合作伙伴中包括广发银行、建设银行、中行、工行、农行等银行。Apple Pay推出后,在手机上下载一个移动支付客户端,打开添加银行卡就可以了。中国是亚洲首个、全球第五个开通Apple Pay支付业务的国家或地区。目前全球支持Apple Pay业务的国家有美国、英国、澳大利亚和加拿大。
Apple Pay officially launched in China in the morning on February 18. The service opened at approximately 5∶00 am.Apple Pay partnered up with 15 Chinese banks including Guangdong Development Bank, China Construction Bank, Bank of China, ICBC, and Agricultural Bank of China. Customers will be able to download the Apple Pay app to the smart phone and add their bank cards to the payment system. China is the first country in Asia to support Apple Pay, and the fifth nation globally. Currently Apple Pay is supported in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.
Chinese Tourists Spent 1.2 Trillion Yuan Abroad in 2015
商务部的数据显示,2015年中国游客在境外消费约1.2万亿元,继续保持世界主要旅游消费群体称号。过去中国游客被称为“行走的钱包”。2015年中国消费者全球奢侈品消费达到1168亿美元。其中,中国人近八成的奢侈品消费是“海外淘货”的。价格因素是海淘最具吸引力的地方。数据显示,酒类产品平均价差高达64%,最高价差达85%;腕表平均价差33%,最高价差83%。而消费者常买的服装、香水、箱包、化妆品和皮鞋,价差都在30%以下。
In 2015, Chinese tourists spent a total of 1.2 trillion Yuan overseas, keeping their title of the world’s largest consumers while traveling. In the past, Chinese tourists have been referred to as “walking wallets.” Chinese consumption of luxury goods worldwide reached $116.8 billion in 2015, about 78% of total luxury goods sales. One of the main factors here is price. For high-end alcohol, prices are often 60 to 85% lower abroad. Watches are usually about 33% cheaper when purchased abroad, and can be found on sale up to 83% cheaper. Chinese consumers often buy clothing, perfume, bags, cosmetics, and shoes abroad for 30% cheaper than in China.

英国《金融时报》2016年度全球MBA百强排行榜最新出炉。今年排在第一位的是欧洲工商管理学院,此次,中国一共有7家商学院入选榜单,香港科技大学工商管理学院以全球第14名排在中国区第一,内地排名最高的是中欧国际工商学院,排在全球榜第17位。在“校友毕业后薪资增长百分比”这个项目上,中国的商学院有着巨大的优势,占据了全球前5名中的第2到5位,分别是:复旦大学MBA项目、上海交通大学安泰经济学院、中国人民大学商学院MBA项目以及中欧国际工商学院。
Seven Chinese universities were included in the Financial Times’ list of Top 100 Global MBAs. China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) was ranked first in Mainland China, and 17th globally. China’s MBA programs had some of the highest percentages of increased salaries of alumni after graduation. Four Mainland universities were included in the world’s top 5 for salary increases∶ Fudan University School of Management, Shanghai Jiaotong University∶ Antai, Renmin University China School of Business, and CEIBS.
