There are lots of castles in the world. Some were the homes of kings and queens. Some were for wars. Every castle has its own interesting stories.世界上有很多的城堡，有一些是国王和王后的家，有一些是战争的需要。每一个城堡都有属于它自己的故事。

Germany has many old and beautiful castles. Neuschwanstein Castle （新天鹅城堡） is a famous one. Disneyland Parks Sleeping Beauty Castle copies （复制） it. Newschwanstein Castle is on a cliff （悬崖）. People built it for King Ludwig II in 1869. The king was not good at ruling （统治） the country. He lost his power. But he loved art. He always wanted a fairytale castle. It took 23 years to build the castle.
