MERMAID

Stephen Chow's new fi lm, Mermaid, will be launched on February 8th during Chinese New Year.The cast includes Deng Chao, Show Luo, and Kitty Zhang.Set in the modern world, the fi lm depicts the story of a biological professor, who was saved by a mermaid, and then falls in love with the mermaid.It's reported that there are many special effects in the fi lm, costing 150 million RMB (approximately USD 24.4 million) for its production.

华人“喜剧之王”周星驰的新作《美人鱼》，由邓超、张雨绮、罗志祥主演，于2月8日上映。该片是一部惊险离奇的魔幻片，故事描述了一艘船在海上遇劫，美人鱼勇救这艘船，船上一名英俊青年对美人鱼一见钟情，谱出一段人鱼恋曲。该片有不少特效场景，有传制作成本约1.5亿元人民币。
