The Tale of Chun Hyang Dramatized in Yueju Opera in Hangzhou

On February 16, 2016 Zhejiang One Hundred Little Flowers Yueju Opera Troupe staged The Tale of Chun Hyang, a classical Korean legend, at Hangzhou Theater. The Tale of Chun Hyang, The Dream of the Red Chamber and The Tale of Genjii rank as the three classical novels of Asia. This is the most important play the troupe performs in 2016. It is scheduled for Shanghai Grand Theater in March, 2016 and for a ROK tour in April. The play is to be performed at the National Theater in Beijing in October.
