New Arti ficial Intelligence1 Technology Will Threaten Survival of Humankind

Physicist and author of the Arti ficial Intelligence Revolution, Louis Del Monte, believes that new arti ficial intelligence technology will threaten the survival of humankind, and in 30 years, probably, the top species on our planet, Earth, will not be humans.

Del Monte believes that we will become cyborgs2. cyborg:（部分机能由各种电子或电机装置代替的）半机械人，靠机械装置维持生命的人。, part human and part machine. Machines have become a part of our lives already where in cases required, arti ficial limbs have replaced our own, we feel that without computers and our gadgets we are handicapped.3. 机器在很多情况下已经成为了我们生活的一部分，人造肢体取代了我们自己的，我们感觉没有电脑和各种智能设备我们就变残疾了。limb: 肢，臂，腿；gadget: 小巧的机械装置；handicapped: 残疾的，有生理缺陷的。Machines have been helping us in our day to day life wherein4. wherein: 在其中。they improve productivity and our quality of life.
