Tao Ping was born in Jingdezhen， Jiangxi Province in 1972 and graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute. Now he is a member of China Arts and Crafts Association， senior technician of Jiangxi Province， inheritor of intangible cultural heritage project （painting in high temperature colored glaze）， guest professor both of Jiangxi Vocational& Technical College of Ceramics and Heilongjiang University， ceramic expert of Qiqihar Crafts and Arts Association， etc. He is very skilled in the creation of high temperature colored glaze， creating various excellent artworks with combination of modern techniques. He has participated in various exhibitions and won grand prizes.

陶平，1972年生于景德镇 ，毕业于景德镇陶瓷学院。江西省工艺美术家，江西省高级技师，江西省工艺美术师，非物质文化遗产项目代表性传承人（高温色釉彩绘），中国工艺美术协会会员，中国工艺美术学会会员，中国陶瓷工业协会会员，景德镇市陶瓷协会会员。江西省陶瓷工艺美术职业技术学院艺术设计系客座教授，黑龙江大学艺术学院美术系客座教授，齐齐哈尔工艺美术协会艺术陶瓷类专家评委。擅长高温色釉彩绘，融入现代技法，创作出一系列令人耳目一新的作品。2014年作品《高士图》参加由中国陶瓷工业协会举办的第四届北流陶瓷博览会名优作品评比获得金奖，作品《民俗风情》荣获2012年大连紫砂陶瓷工艺品博览会星海杯评比金奖，2013年参加由中国工艺美术学会举办的第11届全国工艺品博览会获优秀工艺美术作品评比金奖。
