The adventurous wood sailing ship called “Fram” is anchored at Fram Museum in Oslo. At the beginning of 20th century, the most legendary Norwegian explorer Amundsen drove Fram from the north pole and arrived at the south pole on December 14,1911, and became the first explorer to reach the south pole along with British naval officer and polar explorer Scott. Nansen and DE Andrew were successively going through some unexplored places such as North Pole, Arctic Ocean Channel and the Ross Sea. This sailing ship opened the initial ice road with all the exploring heroes.

The North and South Poles are natural and magestic places before any person set foot on them. The Antarctic continent has the worlds largest ice sheet—The Antarctic ice sheet has an average thickness of about 2200 meters, which floats around sea and breaks down into numerous icebergs along its way. But underground, after hundreds of thousands years, the ice looks like a magician and changes occur in the snow layers under huge pressure and the bubble disappeared and tiny ice crystals are formed together, which later they become tough blue ice glaciers. When the floating glaciers encounters cliffs and mountains, the deep blue ice in the ice sheet overflows and shows the crystal and transparent inner.

In the North Pole, winter and summer temperatures differences lead moisture evaporation into the atmosphere from the sea and increase the chances for snowfall. In winter, the sharply decreased in temperatures accumulates ice in the sea and creates snow and ice in the sea around few continents. But some open parts are not frozen because the sea tide is being squeezed from islands. The temperature in winter is rarely above 50 degrees. Under the ice, the sea is quiet and different compared to what goes on the surface.

Evolution has allowed polar animals to adapt themselves to live in harmony with the harsh environment of the north and south poles.Penguins scaly overlap and dense feather avoids them to be saturated with sea water, and their subcutaneous fat ensures them with constant body temperature. Mosquitos in the Antarctic Pole learn to sleep in the ice and thaw. They can forage, breed rapidly in 40 days during the summer. The rats from the North Pole mate and have newborns in 20 days. Until Autumn, a few couple of rats can reproduce thousands in one generation. While in the boundless loneliness of the poles days and nights, many people who choose to live or come to these continents cant overcome the "Antarctic disease" which tells people that they are latecomers in getting along with the polar lifestyle and that they still need time to adapt.

The Eskimo ancestors in the North Pole have left a figure: a palm with a hole in the center which means act lenient while hunting. This simple pattern contains a profound philosophy which says: living is not the excuse for plundering, people can live in harmony with nature when they cherish it. Starting from the pioneers of setting the first foot on the Arctic and Antarctic poles, people have been here for hundreds of years and it is not only known for having beautiful northern lights or cute animals or spectacular ice shows, but also they have been known for containing many crisis and be the hope of humanity. Which area human eventually explore, the answer depends on ourselves.
