The Fox and the Stork

1. The fox invites （邀请） the stork （鹳）to dinner.

狐狸想要捉弄鹳， 故意用盘子给鹳盛汤。可鹳的嘴又尖又长,喝不到盘里的汤。狐狸的诡计得逞，得意洋洋。后来鹳邀请狐狸来家里吃饭，她把食物放在长瓶子里，结果，狐狸什么也没吃到，肚子饿得咕咕叫。鹳对狐狸说：“你活该！”

P.S. You deserve it. 这句话有两种解释——表达褒义的时候，意为“名至实归”；表达贬义的时候，则意为“罪有应得”，俗称“活该”，又叫“报应”。
