450,000-Ton Aluminum Sheet Project Breaks Ground in Qinghai

On October 30, 2010, Qinghai Loften Xinheng Aluminum Co. Ltd. invested RMB 5.5 billion in construction of a 450,000-ton aluminum sheet project in Ganhe Industrial Park of Xining Economy & Technology Development Zone.

Jointly invested by Shandong Loften Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd. and Beijing Xinheng Group,the 450,000-ton aluminum sheet project has introduced world-class aluminum strip production and processing equipments. It is no need to cast boiling molten aluminum to aluminum ingot for secondary re-melting, instead, boiling molten aluminum is processed in 1+4 hot continuous casting & rolling machine to manufacture various aluminum foils directly. Relyin on advantageous resources to extend industria chain and develop circular economy, it is a ma jor project featuring high energy efficiency an high added value, and products of the projec may be widely used in packaging, electronic printing, communications & transportation aerospace and electromechanical industrie etc. The project is expected to be put into op eration by the end of 2013, when completed,will achieve an annual sales revenue of ap proximately RMB 10 billion and profits an taxes of approximately RMB 1.5 billion.
