ZTECorporation,a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions,took part in the IMSWorld Forum 2007,the second round of its type in the European tourist city Monaco during April24-26,2007 as a silver sponsor.

The Forum,hosted by Informa,drew great attention from operators,equipment manufacturers,and other enterprises within the industry.It focused on the IMStechnology and IP convergence under the background of telecom convergence and telecom transformation.

IMSis viewed as an ideal platform for Fixed Mobile Convergence(FMC).Interoperability is one of the hot issues in the IMSfield；the industry refers to 2007 as the IMS Interoperability Year.ZTEclosely follows IMSevolution pulse,and gave a presentation entitled"From Theory to Practice:a Fully Interoperable Global IMSFramework".

Recently,ZTEhas successfully launched new-generation IMS-based multi-network convergence solution,ZIMS.This solution covers all functional modules defined by 3GPP,3GPP2 and TISPAN,providing full series of network equipment for access layer,bearer layer,control layer,service layer and user data layer.It is very few in the world involving the whole system,and end-to-end IMSintegrated solution.ZTEparticipated in GMI2006,successfully showing excellent interoperability,compatibility and stability of its IMS core network equipment.
