一、小船在河上航行

Boats Sail On The Rivers

Boatssailontherivers，

And ships sail on the seas；

But clouds that sail across the sky，

Are prettier far than these．

小船在河上航行，

轮船在大海中乘风破浪；

而当云朵漂浮在蓝天时，

比这些更美好。

There are bridges on the rivers，

As pretty as you please；

But the bow that bridges heaven，

And overtops the trees，

And builds a road from earth to sky，

Is prettier far than these．

河上横跨着小桥，

正如你愿讨人喜欢；

但是当那绚丽的彩虹横跨天边，

凌驾于树梢之上时，

建一座通天桥，

比这些更美好。

二、是什么成就一个人?

What makes a man?

Do you fear the force of the wind?

The slash of the rain?

Go face them and fight them!

Be savage again!

Go hungry and cold like the wolf?

Go wade like the crane!

The palms of your handswillthicken!

The skin of your cheeks will tan!

Youll grow ragged and weary and swarthy

But you will walk like a man!

你害怕寒风凛冽吗?

你害怕暴雨冲刷吗?

去面对它们同它们作战吧!

再勇猛一次吧!

就像狼一样不惧饥饿和寒冷!

像鹤一样去跋山涉水!

你的手掌会变得刚劲有力!
